Our Director

Hello! 

My name is Michelle Lester and I am the director of Pittsburgh Event Childcare, Wedding Nights 4 Tikes and Childcare Express Solutions. I come to you with many years of childcare experience, more recently 8+ years of experience in a medically fragile childcare center where I served as a Registered Nurse, Assistant Clinical Director, and Clinical Director. I have served in both direct care and management capacities through the years and have learned many valuable lessons in providing the most effective and efficient childcare.

I graduated from Waynesburg University in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and earned my Registered Nurse credentials in June 2012. As a registered nurse, I ensure the best possible care for your child with over 8 years of pediatric nurse experience. I have cared for many children with conditions ranging from common respiratory issues to rare, genetic and/or chromosomal diagnoses. Be comforted in knowing that I hold certifications in BLS/CPR/First Aid, as well as in Pediatric Advance Life Support. Aside from my professional background, I was raised in a large family and began babysitting at the age of 14 and now as the mother of eight children, I assure you that I have always had a heart for children. I feel strongly about the health and well-being of each child that I care for as well as incorporating fun and creativity into their individualized care. 

Feel at ease knowing our caregivers who care for the children at our local Centers and at our events, not only have many years of experience, they have huge loving and caring hearts for children. 

I want you to really grasp who I am as a person and understand that your child will be in great hands. Your child will be cared for as if he/she were family. My staff and I believe in enhancing the childcare experience by engaging with each child directly and instilling new ways to have fun and be creative!
